Meditation Every Thursday
Rain or shine every Thursday at noon we enjoy socially distanced meditation at the yurt on the farm. We start precisely at noon. Feel free to come early and walk the labyrinth. Location: 19362 Constitution Hwy, Nasons, VA 22960. We meet in the parking lot at the end of the drive at 11:50 AM EST and walk to the meditation deck.
Affrolachian On-Time Music Gathering
*This year featuring Gangstagrass on Saturday Night*
This celebration brings together lovers of Black Appalachian music and dance on our farm in the Piedmont of Central Virginia. This 4 day gathering starts with a private retreat for our community on the third Wednesday of September. The weekend opens to the public with concerts and a gospel sing, camp-out and jams with artists, fiddlers, violinist, guitarist, banjoists, singers, dancers, and more. The concerts are Friday and Saturday September 22 and 23, 2023 (7pm-9pm EDT) and Gospel Sing the 24th (10am-12pm EDT) More details will be listed here as the program develops. Stay tuned.

*Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, things change rapidly. Watch for updates.
* Gate opens at 5:00PM. Bring a lawn chair.

*Concert tickets are $20/adult. Children under 12 get in free with an adult.
*Bring an instrument for late night jamming after the concerts.
* Local hotels in Orange, VA are available. Book early.
* Free parking at the farm. Attendants will assist you.
*Adults and children should be vaccinated and boosted. If not, please wear a mask even though this is an outdoor event. If you are sick with cough, fever, shortness of breath, please stay home.
Sing Peace
Join us every Wednesday at noon for an hour of art and song in downtown Orange, VA. No agenda, no rhetoric. Paint, dance, sing, listen, sculpt…We meet rain or shine at the OCAAHS Park on the corner of Mill and E. Church St.

For the last 25 years, Imani Works has celebrated Earth Day. This year, join us for an organic farm tour, hikes, tree planting, games and music from 10AM to 2PM. Earn a walking stick. Learn about sustainable living. This event is free and open to all.
