Conflict Transformation
CTS Basic Training Workshops.
To understand Human Rights, it is helpful to understand one another. Conflict Transformation Services provides an opportunity to practice the principles of dialogue, nonviolence and reconciliation. Continuing Education Credits are available for clergy, medical professionals, counselors and social workers. Meditation
Every Thursday from sunrise to sunset you can join us at the farmashramonastery (19362 Constitution Hwy, Orange, VA 22960) for meditation. Different modalities are used. We sit for 20 minutes with breaks. Most sessions are silent and start with a bell or chant. If you are new to meditation, we can help you get started. We meet rain or shine and follow this schedule (all times ET):

10 AM to noon           Labyrinth walk with Gregorian chant
Noon to 1PM              Free simple meal (you may bring your own)
1PM-3PM                    Meditation with breaks
3PM-4PM                    Trail walk

4PM-5PM                    Supper

Effective Advocacy
United Nations
. Imani Works is a non-governmental organization of the United Nations. As such, we send delegations of members to various events hosted by the Department of Economic and Social Development. You can learn more about this branch of the UN at https://www.un.org/development/desa/en/about.html. Join our roster of volunteer delegates by applying by email.  Send a resume with a brief statement on why you would like to join our team.

Children's Rights. Today, children do not have the same human rights as adults in the United States. WE have a signature campaign to bring attention to this problem. The USA is the only free member state of the UN that has not ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Every November, we send hundreds of colorful hands with the signature of those who support children's rights to Washington, DC. In 2009, we received a commendation by President Obama for our efforts. Want to join us? Request a signature campaign kit by email.

Dr. Dena Jennings is the founder of our organization. She is an Internal Medicine Specialist with over 30 years of service as a primary car physician. Since retirement, in 2021, she has dedicated her time to sustainable living on the farm, house calls for those in dire need, and forensic medical/psychological evaluations for candidates seeking asylum in the United States through Physicians for Human Rights.

The conflict transformation workshops and facilitations are conducted by Dr. Jennings using materials that she has written as a result of her decades of experience.
